The sun is out and Kitsilano is buzzing. We love this time of year, and try to get out as often as possible to enjoy the patios, rooms and food the Kits restaurant scene has to offer. Here’s a quick list of some of our favourite restaurants..

Kitsilano Restaurant Guide

Known for Cocktails, Atmosphere and great dishes­. This spot is great for a nice dinner or drinks at the bar. Fried Chicken is one of our favourites!

New to the neighbourhood and a huge hit! Oddfish has the same owners as the Nook restaurants, so you know you’re well taken care of from the moment you walk in. Delicious fresh seafood and always a great atmosphere for any occasion.

Known for Pizza, Pasta, and Atmosphere­, and they serve a tasty weekend brunch. Try out Trattoria during their $10 pasta nights on Tuesdays. It’s owned by the Glowbal Group company so you’ll be well taken care of here.

Known for great Canadian Dishes and cozy Ambiance. The­ Burger and Poutine are a hit here.

This is a great farm to table restaurant with creative dishes and a really, really good brunch.

Upon arrival, take your time and choose from a first ­class menu rivalling some of Vancouver’s best restaurants. When you’re ready, you’ll be led to your table in the dark dining room by a blind, or visually impaired server who has been trained to ensure your comfort at all times, and will eat in the dark! It’s a cool experience and you get a great meal out of it too.

By far some of the best Italian food in the city! This restaurant not only has a fantastic atmosphere but the big windows opening onto the street give this place a cool vibe. They don’t take reservations, so plan on waiting if you’re going on a nice day.

Classic pub food a block from the beach! Cozy up inside during the winter months with their delicious comfort food or check out their booming outdoor patio in the summer! There will be a line on a sunny day, so be prepared to wait.

If you’re a seafood lover this place is for you. Famous for their fresh oysters, Chewies is also a great place to go out on the weekends and the staff is always energetic and fun.

This Latin American inspired restaurant is relatively new to the Kitsilano area. This spot is quickly becoming a neighbourhood favourite!

Definitely one of the best sushi spots in the city. Always fresh, this place is guaranteed to satisfy all of your sushi cravings.

A Kitsilano institution! This is one of Kitsilano’s oldest restaurants and they’ve lasted this long for a reason. Serving all vegetarian, the food is tasty, the portions are large and tit’s open 24/7 so you can always get your fix.

Really, really good Indian Food. They’re good for dine in or take out, so if you’re craving Indian food, this is the spot to satisfy it!

This restaurant has won “Best New Restaurant” in the city, so there is no denying that they’re good! It’s the best, and most unique, Thai food you’ll have.
