The sun is shining (if we're lucky, as it's still June), so people come out to play. Lots of people from all over Vancouver head to Kits beach to lounge in the sand and grass to lazily enjoy the day. For the more athletic types, there's basketball, tennis and beach volleyball courts as well. You can swim in the ocean or swim in the Canada's longest, salt water public pool. And when in doubt, you can enjoy a refreshing beverage at the Boathouse, while taking in the fantastic view of the North Shore mountains and Pacific Ocean. Regardless of your activities, Kits Beach always provides a satisfying day of fun.
