That block on West Broadway between Balsam and Macdonald is getting another new restaurant after the unfortunate closing of Mistral Bistro. NOSH, a licensed shop/restaurant, will specialize in well crafted take out and rotisserie meals. From the owners:
"NOSH IS FRESH, HANDCRAFTED MEALS SERVED IN A SNAP. NOSH IS SUCCULENT ROTISSERIE, BRAISES SLOW COOKED WITH CARE AND CRISP, DELICIOUS SALADS. NOSH IS TAKE-OUT FINALLY DONE RIGHT. NOSH NEVER REFERS TO ITSELF IN THE THIRD PERSON. THAT’S ARROGANT. SO WE’LL STOP NOW. WE’RE JUST A BUNCH OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU WITH AN INHERENT PASSION FOR GOOD FOOD AND QUALITY INGREDIENTS. VISIT US A FEW TIMES AND WE’LL SOON BE ON A FIRST NAME BASIS. BUT WE’LL NEVER GIVE YOU “THE USUAL”. THAT’S BECAUSE THERE IS NO USUAL HERE. EVERY MEAL IS EXCITING, EXCEPTIONAL AND UNIQUE. JUST LIKE THE PEOPLE WHO DINE HERE."
Expect many delicious sandwiches, salads, and rotisserie meat (of all kinds: chicken, duck, pork, beef) as well as delicious vegetarian options.
NOSH is scheduled to open January 12th. More information from Scout Magazine.
